SSASO Yearly Membership $40

Temporary single weekend membership $20.

Family Membership (same household) $40 for first person, $20 for each additional person

To make the most of your yearly membership fees we recommend payment by April. This years membership will include spring events and be active until late spring 2023.

​

You may join the club at any time during the year, however after April none paying members will be removed from this private SSASO group, and only general info will be posted externally on the public page.

​

Your membership will include:

  • Input into the clubs focus and directions and future events

  • Our first club General Meeting in summer of 2023 (after a year of operation)

  • Access to all SASSO events: Time trials, races, training days/fun runs, sled dog showcase, educational and training workshops etc

  • SSASO Bi-annual digital news letter

  • Club ranking in our SSASO event points system

  • Members nominated yearly Achievement awards

  • ​

Currently SSASO is working on a handful of events for the spring and summer.

Here is a rough outline of what we are working towards. These are proposed dates & events and are not finalized:

  • Brant Tract spring single day time trail (2mile and 5.5mile trail) All classes, prospered dates: April 30th with back up date of May 7th.

  • Northumberland 1 day Time Trial (No rig class) Special Bi/Tri Athlon classes - prospered date May 14th

  • SSASO OFA Eye clinic 23April – fundraiser

  • The Sled Dog Showcase – May 28th - more info to come

  • Leader training workshop – June

  • Education workshop on health and healing for sporting dogs (present by Abby Fallis & Bekka Haase) July - TBD

  • Diva`s of the Dock ( SSASO SPLASH) Summer TBD – fundraiser

  • Fall schedule

  • Brant TT Mid-Oct

  • New Fall Dryland race – Nov 5-6th (very early planning stages)
